Jeff Ferzoco is the Creative and Technology Director at Regional Plan Association, the nation's oldest independent metropolitan planning organization. In his role, Mr. Ferzoco leads the information design team and guides RPA's use of rapidly emerging information technology and social media tools, including those fostering more inclusive planning decisions. His technology perspectives have been published in Planning Magazine, Traffic Technology Magazine and across the internet.
As Creative Director, Mr. Ferzoco's role is to define and implement a consistent and clear approach to the organization's design work, including managing the development and production of publications and directing the portfolio of RPA websites. His leadership in information, technology, experience and spatial design permeates all RPA programs.
Prior to joining RPA, Mr. Ferzoco was part of the graphics department of Newsweek. His other design work included clients such as Donna Karan International and Soft Skull Press. His work has also been published in Sports Illustrated, Not For Tourists New York, and other publications. Before landing on the East Coast, Mr. Ferzoco also worked as Information Designer at San Francisco's Reineck and Reineck, creating mapping and information for Sunset, the San Francisco Board of Realtors, and Bay Area Rapid Transit. His work has been used to help Californian commuters in Modesto, San Luis Obispo, San Jose, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Mr. Ferzoco studied design with an emphasis in geography and information at California College of the Arts in San Francisco. On occasion, he may be found playing city-building games until wee hours of the morning.
