Recent events in Lower Manhattan have provided a stark reminder that all of the Region's business districts are to some extent interdependent. This workshop will explore the potential impact of Far West Side development on the Region's urban core, from the Lower Manhattan portion of the Central Business District to the outer boroughs, Jersey City, Newark and the rest of New Jersey's urban Gold Coast. With regard to development and jobs, is it in fact a zero-sum game between the Far West Side and these other districts?
