Convenient access is crucial to the success of any major mixed-use urban district. All of the plans for the Far West Side recognize this planning truth, but there are varying opinions on just how much transit is needed to make the district work. This workshop will look at the impact of New York City's Hudson Yards development plan on the Region's transportation system, and the implications of the transportation components for the plan itself. Discussion will include a look at what the plan means for the future of large-scale transportation planning in the Region.
