Sarabrent is a research analyst for RPA’s energy and environment program. At RPA, she conducts data and spatial analyses around climate adaptation and natural resource protection, informed by historical and projected geographies of land use, land cover, and risk in the New York-New Jersey-Connecticut metropolitan area. She contributes to the program’s recommendations around open space preservation and access, landscape and water infrastructure, and community resilience. Prior to joining RPA, she worked on a Community Preservation Act plan for Somerville, Mass., and researched coastal land change in Louisiana for the USGS National Wetlands Research Center. She holds a bachelor’s in geography from Middlebury College.
