Amie Kershbaum engages with foundations and corporations who generously support RPA’s work throughout the region. She secures general operating supporting and programmatic funds. Amie works closely with RPA’s senior program team.
Previously she oversaw institutional and government funding at citywide advocacy organization Transportation Alternatives. Amie has worked in the non-profit-sector in New York City since 2012. Her experience includes development, external relations, communications, and new program management. Amie began her career in management consulting and held online marketing roles, including with a web property of The Walt Disney Company, before realizing her long-time interest in transitioning to the non-profit sector.
Amie’s exposure to city planning began early — she grew up in a planned community. She graduated summa cum laude from Bryn Mawr College with a double major in History and Spanish.
