General Support Gifts
General support gifts provide critical unrestricted funding for RPA’s programs. These gifts support research, analysis and public outreach, and ensure RPA’s independence and ability to launch initiatives and respond to important issues.
The Campaign for the Fourth Regional Plan
RPA is developing the Fourth Regional Plan, a long-term blueprint for our region’s growth, sustainability, good governance and economic opportunity. Your gift will contribute to a pool of dedicated funds to support the plan’s implementation.
The Peter W. Herman Chair for Transportation Planning
This endowed chair honors RPA's longest-serving director and chairman emeritus. The Peter W. Herman Chair for Transportation Studies will provide long-term annual support for a prominent expert’s work in transportation planning.

Contributors support the success of our region's communities. For their support, Contributors are invited to mingle with other regionalists at receptions and tours.
Friends are the backbone of RPA. For their support, Friends receive a ticket to the Assembly, as well as invitations to receptions and tours.
Supporters invest in a better future for the region. Supporters receive two tickets to the Assembly, as well as invitations to lectures, strategy sessions, receptions and tours.
The Patron Program is made up of supporters who believe that RPA is essential to improving the New York metropolitan region’s economic growth and quality of life. As investors providing a vital source of operating support, members help build on our 95-year legacy of improving the prosperity and sustainability of the region and play an active role in the most critical and urgent urban planning decisions facing the city and the region. Members are provided unique experiences including consultations with RPA senior management, invitations to private lectures and workshops, and key sponsorship at the annual Assembly which brings together more than 1,000 civic and business leaders from the tri-state area for candid conversation about good governance, resiliency and prosperity.
