Watch Our Animated Video on the Trans-Hudson Crisis

What would happen if one of the aging Hudson River rail tunnels linking New Jersey to Manhattan had to be shut down for extended repairs before new tunnels are built? Nearly 100,000 people would find their daily commutes upended. NJ Transit and Amtrak would be forced to slash service. Roadways would be clogged. Many commuters wouldn’t be able to get to work at all.

RPA has created a short animated video, “Tunnel Trouble,” to convey, in what we hope is an engaging way, the need to build new Hudson rail tunnels. The video can be viewed at rpa.org/transHudson

We invite you to share the video to help raise awareness about the crisis in infrastructure that we are facing.
