RPA to City Council: NYC Infrastructure Needs Urgent Investment

New York’s deteriorating infrastructure could threaten the city’s long-term economic health and quality of life if major investments aren’t made in our roads, bridges, water and gas lines and transportation systems. In testimony before the New York City Council on Nov. 3, RPA President Robert D. Yaro called on policy makers to invest tens of billions of dollars into the city’s infrastructure in order to maintain a state of good repair and to accommodate future growth.
