NYC congestion pricing: New report recommends variable, 2-way fees

In order to reduce congestion and improve travel speeds as much as possible, New York City should implement variable, two-way fees under its new congestion pricing plan, according to a new report.

The Regional Plan Association, a nonprofit research group, has released a new study, titled “Congestion Pricing in NYC: Getting it Right" -- offering a host of recommendations on how the MTA Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority should implement and enforce congestion pricing to optimize revenue and minimize traffic.
