NJ Transit buses don’t have to be awful. These riders have a plan to fix it.

Transit advocates unveiled a multipoint plan Thursday to make NJ Transit buses easier to ride, less confusing and with a goal of attracting more riders.

Tri-State Transportation Campaign, Regional Plan Association, Transit Center and other advocates announced the plan outside NJ Transit headquarters in Newark as riders got on and off some of the buses they want to improve.
