Rebecca Hersh is an urban planner who has spent her professional life working on smart growth, urban redevelopment, and transportation issues. Before coming to RPA, Rebecca was the Director of Special Projects at New Jersey Future, working as a policy analyst, planner, writer, and editor. Prior to that, Rebecca was the Communications Coordinator at the Tri-State Transportation Campaign in New York City and a Project Manager at the Clinton Housing Development Corporation in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood of New York City. Rebecca received her M.S. degree in Urban Planning from Columbia University and her B.A. in Professional Writing and Creative Writing from Carnegie Mellon University. She is on the Board of the New Jersey chapter of the American Planning Association. A New Jersey native, Rebecca lives in New Brunswick with her husband Randy Solomon, daughter Lily, and two big stinky dogs, Barley and Hannibal. | |
