L. Nicolas Ronderos is Senior Planner, and focuses on the interrelation between Transportation, Community Planning and Real Estate Development. At the center of this juncture land use and zoning play an important role: they relate potential growth, actual capacity and smart development. As land use and zoning specialist for RPA, Nicolas is charged with analyzing municipalities existing codes and economic functions to assess their design performance and real estate implications, giving public testimony and evaluation of actions helping shape new strategies to guide development. RPA works in the New York-New Jersey-Connecticut Metropolitan Area and this has allowed him to work in different types of communities from New York City to the suburban fringe. Nicolas holds a B.A. in Anthropology with a minor in History of Technology from Los Andes University and a Masters of Science in Urban Policy Analysis and Management from The New School University. He is currently an SCPS Fellow at NYU’s Real Estate Institute on Real Estate Finance and Investments. |
