As a Senior Planner at Regional Plan Association, Juliette Michaelson is managing the Moynihan Station project, an effort to house an improved Penn Station and Madison Square Garden in the historic Farley Post Office building, and construct a new state-of-the-art train station at the existing Penn Station site. Ms. Michaelson is also coordinating affordable housing policy efforts for RPA in the tri-state region.
Prior to joining RPA, Ms. Michaelson was a Project Manager at Project for Public Spaces. She managed a range of outreach, education and training programs to help municipalities and state DOTs work together and make sustainable land use and transportation decisions.
Ms. Michaelson received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Princeton University and a Master in Urban Planning from Columbia University. She was the recipient of the Charles Abrams Award for Best Masters Thesis.
