RPA's President Bob Yaro testified today at confirmation hearings for nominated MTA head Jay Walder. The hearings, which took place today in Mineola and will resume next Tuesday, September 8th in Harlem, mark the start of the formal confirmation process, which will conclude on September 10th in Albany. RPA supports Mr. Walder's nomination and notes in testimony that he is a highly skilled transit management professional who should be confirmed quickly. Read the testimony.
