Spotlight Vol. 8, No. 12: Spotlight Gets Some Feedback and RPA Gets Social

by Jeff Ferzoco, Creative and Technology Director, RPA

We love feedback.

Every two weeks, RPA staffers write Spotlight together. We don't consider Spotlight to be a newsletter as much as bi-weekly commentary on planning and urban affairs, both in and beyond the tri-state region. One of the pleasures of writing for Spotlight is reading your emails afterwards - some full of praise, others critical, all passionate and well-argued. We circulate them around the office, often leading to long discussions. We've suspected for awhile that many more comments are out there, so we've decided to do something about it.

As of today, we are opening public commenting on every Spotlight article. We're looking for anything you have to offer: criticisms, clarifications, questions, ideas. We want to hear from you.

To leave a comment, click the headline of any of the articles in this issue and head to the website. At the bottom you'll find the words "Sign in to comment." There are few rules: we want to hear your ideas and comments, but request that comments stay on-topic and respect others.

Additionally, you'll find us in a couple of new social networking spaces:

New Facebook groups: Regional Plan Association: http://bit.ly/2UOoJ8 Empire State Future: http://bit.ly/eXd0o and Governors Island Alliance: http://bit.ly/Xnbxn

Twitter: We've got a total of 4 feeds now: @regionalplan @america2050 @govisalliance and @empstatefuture

There are more features in store, so stay tuned. We'll be rolling out more communications tools, interactivity and editorial spaces in the next few months. If you have any suggestions, go ahead and leave a comment for this article. We'll be listening.
