RPA and ESTA's KeepNewYorkMoving campaign is spreading the word about the upcoming doomsday MTA fare hikes, service cuts and lack of a long-term transit finance plan. We've been working steadily to prevent your costs from rising, but yesterday's news sealed the deal on rate increases.
We're not happy and we're doing something about it. We need your help:
First, you can send a message to a your State Senator, Governor Paterson, Senator Malcom Smith, and your Assemblyperson here. Just fill out your address and press SEND. Done.
Completing that, we've started a Facebook and Twitter awareness campaign, too. Change your profile image on either service to this:
and update your status to this:
